I’m a design student at the University of Idaho. Here are some of the projects I have done during my time.
We were challenged to create a look with recycled materials. I crafted a shirt out of an old tank top and a tablecloth. The skirt was made almost completely out of paper, bible pages to be exact. It was a fully wearable skirt, and the Bible's cover became the matching clutch.
Sustainability is a priority in the work that I do. Many of my projects started as one thing and were given complete makeovers.
I also believe that art can be found in the inspiration of other artists and designers. Here is my dress inspired by a Calvin Klein runway look.
